On Saturday January 29th, 2022 The Christiana Community Ambulance celebrated another successful year at our Annual Banquet.

This year's banquet, which highlights our 2021 operating year, was held at the Christiana Fire Company.

All of our active crew members, social members, neighboring EMS agenices, and several special guests were invited to attend in appreciation for all that our members and friends do to keep the ambulance company operating throughout the year.

The banquet began at 6PM with a short period of time for socializing, with dinner and our welcoming introductions starting at 6:30 PM.

President Neckermann welcomed all in attendance and thanked everyone for coming, as her husband Greg led everyone in a prayer. Everyone was then dismissed by table by EMT Ashley Gable for a buffet style dinner which was prepared by our firend's at Mission Bar B Que.

As dinner was concluding, it was time to begin the banquet presentations and awards ceremonies. First, our special guests were introduced. President Neckermann welcomed our administrative guests as well as our neighboring EMS agencies.

EMS Chief William Dill was then called upon to present the 2021 EMS Award.

The 2021 EMS Provider of the Year was Kyra Bade. Kyra has earned this award as she has only been with our organization for 6 months and has responded to 116 emergencies. Kyra brings a lot to the organization as she is not only a phenomenal provider but also a mentor to our newer and upcoming providers.

The 2021 President and Chief's Award was given to Allison Fromm for her 18 years of service to our organization. Allison currently wears many hats within the organization from a Board of Directors position to overseeing our training department. Allison has on numerous occasions contributed out of her own pocket to special events held by the company. The company felt very obliged to give this award to Allison.

EMS Chief Dill and President Neckermann also highlighted the accomplishments made by the company and praised everyone for their support. Wives, girlfriends, husbands, and boyfriends of active crew members were thanked. Some of the individuals mentioned were Past EMS Chief Stephanie Rathbun and Past Deputy Chief Justin Shultz for their efforts in the restructuring of executive and operational officers.

A special award presentation was put together by President Neckermann and Board of Director Fromm. EMS Chief Dill, EMT Gable, Paramedic Hazel Stanton formerly of Medic 93 were given commendations for a CPR Save of a 3 year old child. The family of the child attended the banquet and presented the commendations to our providers. President Neckermann and Board of Director Fromm had a presentation of their own for the Pt. and his sister which both were given a "Build a Bear" as a thank you for attending.

Additional commendations were presented to EMT Michael Lavender, EMT Jake Ward, Keystone Fire Department EMT Tyler Devoe, Keystone Valley Fire Department EMT Brittany Ward, Medic 94 John Ryan, Medic 94 Ernie Derrickson for a successful delivery of twins prehospital.

EMS Chief Dill, EMT Camacho, Tower Direct Medic Scott Kreger were given an award for their quick actions of a patient suffering from a stroke.

The presentations were wrapped up for the evening and EMS Chief Dill and President Neckermann raffled door prizes off to our guest that attended. After the door prizes were completed more socializing and deserts were distributed and a slide show was presented.

We would like to thank all of our guests, friends, and members for all their help and support throughout the year, as well as all of those who graciously donated gifts to our members. We would also like to the Keystone Valley Fire Department EMS for handling the stand-by and giving our members the opportunity to enjoy the banquet.

Thanks to everyone for another successful year.
