On May 10th, 2022 The Christiana Fire Company along with Christiana EMS and Medic 293 were dispatched to the 400 block of Newport Avenue in Sadsbury Township for an auto accident with entrapment.

Ambulance 46-1 made the response and was advised by the 911 center of a van that had struck a utility pole and had rolled over on it's side and the operator had not gotten out of the vehicle. Ambulance 46-1 arrived to confirm the report with no entrapment and the crew began evaluating the subject. The fire department arrived and began to control the hazards while performing traffic control at the scene.

Thankfully no serious injuries were reported at this accident and EMS cleared the scene relatively quickly. The fire department remained on the scene to await the arrival of the towing company.
